What are the major differences between the social responsibility and social problem approaches?
First, take out the word social. The answer becomes more clear.
Social responsibility is an ethical or ideological theory that an entity whether it is a government, corporation, organization or individual has a responsibility to society. This responsibility can be "negative," in that it is a responsibility to refrain from acting (resistance stance) or it can be "positive," meaning there is a responsibility to act(proactive stance). While primarily associated with business and governmental practices, activist groups and local communities can also be associated with social responsibility, not only business or governmental entities.
You may have a responsibility to make sure a certain thing happens. How you go about doing it is the approach.
Of course. Market forces always produce better quality for lower prices than a Government monopoly.
Can’t speak for China, but I can say that the USA has a very hands-on approach to economic development.
I would say the vast majority of bills that go through the legislature are concerned with improving or maintaining economic development.
Some may not be directly improving it, but it would be considered as part of the decision making process.
E.g. if the Government makes a decision on pension plans, they will consider the impact upon economic development and growth, whether positive and negative.
I have a business idea that fits into the idea of another business….is it wise to contact them regarding how they have set there business up or even how I may be able to partner with them? I am just at a loss to know if I need a license , which department i need to register with …etc ..
First of all you cant Patent an Idea. You call them out of the blue and tell them what you want to do, they can say thats a damn good idea and hang up on you.
You need to get a Non-Compete agreement, and a Non-Circumvent Non- Disclouser agreement. This will keep them from doing your idea for say 2 years without you being involved. Its easy to get around these, but if its that good of an idea, you meet with them in your attorneys office. Ive had many meetings like that and just said after I signed everything, thanks for your time im not interested but good luck. Didnt take their idea but sometimes told them where to go that might. Sometimes I did.
I just walked into a company last week and I demanded 40% of their company for my idea. They said whats your idea? We met with the attornies and they agreed, they gave me 40% of their company. But dont be stupid. They said can we offer a cash settlement? I said nope. They said can we lease it? I said nope. They said okay, you can have 40% of the company. I said 40% of the revenue 3rd party tells me what it is. They said thats more then fair. I said im head of board of directors and I have 100% veto power if I think you are screwing me. All was agreed too.
No I dont work for the company. I will never go in the office again, they just liked me idea.
If its that good of an idea you absolutely need attorneys involved before you tell them.
I am not sure how to approach a group of poeple and start a conversation because im a shy person. I would like to get to know the group and become good friends with them and sit with them during break time. Im not sure how i can do that. What are some ways to help me accomplish this goal?
Approach the person you know and wait to be introduced. If they have any manners they will introduce you. Try to listen at first and then join in when you feel comfortable.
I am having trouble finding a direct answer with regards to the approach!
Thanks in advance
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Office for Film and Broadcasting’s website states:
Our aim is to provide the public with a Catholic evaluation of both entertainment features and documentaries from a moral and artistic perspective.
Our classifications have always been intended as a guide for parents to aid them in choosing what is most appropriate for their children, and for adult viewers who wish to make informed viewing decisions in an increasingly confusing media environment. How readers ultimately apply these classifications is a matter of personal choice, and our opinion of a film’s artistic worth is necessarily subjective.
