What is the Idiographic and Nomothetic approach in children’s development?

I have to write a paragraph on each explaining what there about and how they relate to children?! This is for childcare..

I am also looking for this from a long time actually it depend upon the children that how he take the development as a field, if he like it than he definitely do something in it.Now a days many children like to work in development field.
