How Much is Too Much?
I’m talking about food. How much when it comes to portion size is too much? That is a great question and it’s something that a lot of people really need to watch. Portion size is responsible for the over eating of calories that is one of the major causes of obesity.
In this article, it’s going to be difficult to tell you the portion size of every type of food, but I’m going to bring up some really important pieces of information that have to do with portion size. Never is your portion going to be bigger than your fist.
Now you might be thinking that’s a pretty small size and I will agree with you because I eat a lot of food. However, that leads right into a very important piece of info… you should be eating 6 times a day. This way you can afford to have smaller portions and still stay full.
Most people wait to eat and they get so hungry that they eat too fast and bypass the signal that tells them they are full and eat 300 extra calories. That tends to go to fat and now your moving in the wrong direction. Eat the right size portions and add to that some great exercises to lose weight and you will be in control.
