Action figures: An easy hobby to begin!
The popularity of action figures is something that I have never quite managed to understand to be honest with you. These toys are simply adored by people from all age groups, from your 4 year old child to your 70 year old [man|grandfather|grandad} doting over his collection. So what makes them so interesting to people?
Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of action figures is that they are supposed to be the representation of real life people. You can find an amazing range of action figures ranging from the latest craze in cartoon characters to those characters which you used to read about in comics. Nowadays it seems as you can make an action figure out of anyone!
What I never managed to get was why people actually collect them. If you are a kid I can see why they would fascinate you. You are there in you garden recreating the latest battle full with sound effects, surrounded by your favorite characters. However I dont think that if you are an adult, that this could be the reason. I can only think that you may have taken it as a hobby or that you wish to recreate the nostalgia of younger years.
