How to approach a girl who is with her friends?

I am a bit too shy at first, and would like to know how to approach a girl who is with her friends. It is kind of embarrassing to ask her out in front of them.

Could you please help me with this problem.

Ask her if you can speak to her privately…
Ask her to walk with you to class or the cafeteria…

    Ask her if you can speak to her privately…

    Just ask her if you can speak to her privately…. If she says its not a good time, say "I’ll just ask you later" but if you do get her alone, then just ask!!
